If you are looking for a dive bar, this is it. And yes, Spotlight is a gay bar frequented by more professional patrons. Pretty nice mix of people inside who are either drinking, chatting, or hitting the tune on karaoke. Also great for couples looking for a romantic hideaway in the midst of Hollywood.

It's very relaxed and casual in there. Totally divey and danky, and if that's what you are in the mood for you won't do better than this! Very much has a what-happens-here-stays-here vibe, drinks are cheap, and bartenders are very pleasant and attentive. The best part is, you never know what you will find in there. Such a mixed bag of folks and zero attitude.
